In the butchers
Beef, lamb, pork and chicken from trusted sources. Joints cut to the size you want, and no orders too small, even if it's just a couple of sausages.
Café & deli
Sit in, spill out onto the pavement in summer, or take it away. Food served until 3pm, Monday to Saturday. Pop in or give us a ring to pre-order.
Outside catering
Pig roasts, BBQs and cold buffets, quoted bespoke to your event, from family parties to bigger dos.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where does your meat come from?
Local suppliers we know by name. Beef, lamb, pork and chicken from trusted UK farms, butchered in-house by Nicola and Ryan. If you ever want to know exactly where today's lamb is from, just ask at the counter.
Do I need to order a whole joint, or can I just grab a couple of sausages?
Whatever you need. We'll cut a single steak, a few sausages, or a rib of beef big enough for a family Christmas. No order is too small, and we'll trim, slice, bone or score whichever way works for you.
Can I pre-order meat or sandwiches to collect later?
Yes. Ring 01993 844337, message us on WhatsApp on 07990 985384, or pop in and tell us what you're after. Office lunches, weekend joints and party platters all work the same way. We'll have it cut, prepped and ready behind the counter when you collect.
Can I sit in for a bacon sarnie and a cuppa?
Yes. Pop in any morning, grab a table and order at the counter. Tea, coffee, hot baguettes and a daily-changing deli counter, all alongside the butcher's. Food is served until 3pm Mon–Fri and until 2pm on Saturdays.
How far do you travel for outside catering, and how much notice do you need?
We cover Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Northamptonshire, Somerset and Hampshire. Six to eight weeks ahead is plenty for most weddings and big events, though we can sometimes turn around a hog roast or buffet on shorter notice. Drop us a line with your date and rough numbers and we'll come back with a quote.
How early should I book a Christmas turkey?
The earlier the better. The Christmas order book fills up fast, especially for boneless crowns and whole turkeys. Pop in or ring once you've got your numbers, and we'll add you to the list along with anything else you need: lamb, pork and beef joints, our footlong pigs in blankets, the lot.
Can you cater for allergies or dietary requirements?
Tell us what you need and we'll talk you through what we can do. The more notice you can give us, the better, especially for catering jobs. We'll always be straight with you about what works and what doesn't.
